The International Startup Festival is coming to Montreal July 10-12! That means that it’s time for Twilio, SendGrid, and Windows Azure to team up and send the most exciting startups from around the globe to the festival in style. Startups should apply now to get a spot on the DOer Express bus from NYC to Montreal. Hurry, because we’re only accepting applications through June 7th.
The selected startups will receive a free seat on the DOer Express, accommodations in Montreal during the Startup Festival, discounted tickets to the conference, and a demo space in the DOer Express Tent at the expo. Before the bus leaves the station in NYC on July 10th, the selected startups will also have the chance to informally connect with VCs at a networking event.
2013 International Startup Festival
This year’s festival is all about the story behind the startup— the story that’s typically much more epic than ramen. After all, very company has legends of code that won’t compile right before an important VC meeting, a mannequin of the CEO that greets new hires, or the time the office ran out of coconut water. Check out these suggestions for how to make the most of your time at Startupfest. You know what they say, if you can get a panel of Grandmothers to follow your pitch and love your company, convincing VCs to fund your company is child’s play.
